Ron Gilbert's Celebration of Life Ceremony
On 4/29/2023 a Celebration of Life Ceremony was held for the founder of Ron's log. It was held at the Cabot's Museum in Desert Hot Springs.
Many wore pink as Ron was famous for wearing pink, plus “pink” was his burner name. His his brothers were present as well as some of their family. Ron had friends come from his various circles and family, friends, and city leaders who spoke.

Afterwards the family allowed Ron's friends to take some of his ashes to bring to events that Ron attended like Burning Man, and the World Naked Bike ride Los Angeles.
We, the Friends of Ron's Log, will keep his memory and content here alive.

Celebration of Life for Ron Gilbert
On Saturday April 29 at 6:pm, at Cabot's Pueblo Museum in Desert Hot Springs there will be a celebration of life for Ron "Pink" Gilbert the creator of Ron's Log. He had passed away suddenly in November and it was a shock to all. His family and friends invite you to attend. In Ron's honor, join us in wearing something pink. The Museum is located at 67616 Desert View Ave, Desert Hot Springs, CA 92240
