Wirecutter researched mosquito repellers and found a few that actually work when there's no breeze. The top pick is a $40 gadget. Second pick is a $35 gadget. But their "budget pick" is nothing more than classic mosquito repelling coils that you light like incense. "These inexpensive mosquito coils work as well as our picks, but they’re not as portable, versatile, or durable. And unlike our picks, their burning ends release a smoke that has an odor."
