There's an item on the agenda for next Tuesday's city council meeting entitled "Ratify the removal of the Planning Commissioner appointed by Council Member Joe McKee." The Commissioner appointed by Councilmember McKee is Chuck Parker, who was in very fine form at the January 13 Planning Commission meeting. The item refers to this part of the city code:
2.24.050 Removal.
A. Any member or alternate of a board or commission of the City may be removed from office at any time, with or without cause, by the Councilmember who appointed him/her with ratification by a majority vote of the City Council.
