New Device

I was reading about a new device coming onto the market that is so low-cost and so behind the curve on technology that it will only be marketed in South America, Eastern Europe and Asia (not Japan). But rather than compare it to the very latest product from, say, Apple, I thought I should do a comparison to the very first IBM-compatible computer that I had access to in the early 1980s:
