GoPro Now With Google Glass

A developer has devised an app that allows Google Glass to connect to any GoPro camera with Wi-fi, so that would be any GoPro Hero3 and any earlier models with the Wi-fi BacPac connected. The app for Glass is no earth-shaking breakthrough. The existing apps for iOS, Android, and even Windows allow one to access the camera remotely with a phone or tablet using Wi-fi. I don't understand this sentence in the article: "Right now there doesn't appear to be a way to actually trigger recording to the GoPro's own storage, something which would make for a useful addition." I assume this Glass developer had access to GoPro's specs for its remote apps so he could create his for the Glass. A standard part of the GoPro app in all versions is the ability to turn recording on and off. How could it be that this developer got all of the specs from GoPro except how to do that one essential thing?

That 8 to 12 second delay is something that needs to be worked on too. My Hero2 with Wi-fi BacPac has a 3 to 4 second delay.
