INCIDENT: Homicide Investigation
DATE OF EVENT: Monday, January 27, 2014 / 10:18 PM
On Monday, January 27, 2014, at approximately 10:18 PM, Officers from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department responded to the 66-300 block of Desert View Avenue to investigate a shooting. The 19-year-old male victim suffered a GSW [gunshot wound] and was transported to a local trauma hospital by ambulance, where he died from his injuries. The victim's ID is pending at this time. Detectives from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department responded and assumed the investigation.
