Boy Scout Trail

Yesterday I hiked the Boy Scout Trail with Great Outdoors in Joshua Tree National Park. It was my first time on this trail, which is about 8 miles one way from the main park road to near Indian Cove campground. We did a car shuttle, so we could avoid hiking back and uphill. Temperatures peaked at around 90° up there yesterday.

I know of no shuttle services anywhere in the park, except for one you provide yourself. Our group parked half its vehicles at the end of the trail, then came back to the beginning of the trail in the other half and did the hike.

Hello,

I'm planning to do the Boy Scout trail next month, but I can't find in the Internet if there is a permanent shuttle from Indian Cove back to the Boy Scout trailhead. Do you know if the shuttle is there during the whole week?

Thanks so much for your help,
Jana.
