- Community Health & Wellness Center
- Masonry work is complete at the locker rooms and Athletic Center masonry work continues at western section of Boys & Girls Club Building.
- Slab on grade foundation was poured at Teen Center.
- CIP in Gym are being prepped for concrete pour. [Here you can find a list of 149 possible meanings for the acronym "CIP." Take your pick. I favor "Calf Intestinal Phosphatase."]
- Interior framing has begun in the locker room areas.
- Steel beams were installed along building at south side.
- Block walls erected at Activity Center.
- Design development plans completed, construction plans and specifications at 25`% completion for Desert Healthcare District expansion.
- On November 30, Edison energized the meter at the site of the new traffic light at Camino CampaƱero. Poles should be erected within a week.
- Lowest bidder for improvements on 8th Street west of Palm Drive was Matich Company. They were awarded the contract at the December 6 city council meeting. $231,984.
- Tri-Star submitted the low bid for the street sweeping contract. At $5,625 per month, the annual cost will be about $20,000 less than the previous contract.
- New police officer Michael Placencia started on November 28.
- Code enforcement worked with Cathedral City Detectives to drain a swimming pool on El Rio Dr., in search of evidence of a shooting.
