Recorded in the snow - real or photoshopped?

Photoshopped is my guess, because all of the live action footage of raptor kills show that the wings are held up, away from the ground, and the prey, at the strike.

Which makes sense not only aerodynamically, but also because injury to a bird's wings could easily mean starving to death.
