U.S. Army Photoshops Deceased Soldiers

The U.S. Army at Fort Stewart in Georgia released photos of two soldiers who both died on Setpember 14 in Iraq: Staff Sgt. Darris Dawson and Sgt. Wesley R. Durbin. Bob Owen of the San Antonio Express-News noticed that the two photos were identical except for the men's heads and the names and ranks on their uniforms.

This article says the photo of Staff Sgt. Dawson has been retracted, but so far the army has no comment on how or why this happened.

Yahoo is still hosting both images - Sgt Durbin and Staff Sgt. Dawson.
