According to this press release from the Desert Hot Springs police, a driver, Neil Allred of Sky Valley, was pulled over for "vehicle code violations" at 6th and Palm this afternoon. In his car police found sufficient marijuana and other materials to arrest him for possession and transportation of the devil weed. What is it that drives people to pack their felonious materials into vehicles with bad lights, bad mufflers, missing plates, broken windshields, or whatever, and then drive it all down the main street of Anytown, USA? The fact that we hear about so many busts like this makes me wonder just how much dope is traveling around on the streets in decent, legal cars driven legally by decent people? It would be the perfect cover, it seems.

The article is about lunar astronaut Edgard Mitchell's opinions that Earth has been visited by aliens and that governments of the world are covering up the story.
It's an old story. It just re-surfaced recently because he mentioned it again in a radio interview. Google something like '"Edgar Mitchell" ufo' and you'll see he has been interviewed on this issue extensively for years. It was kind of big back in the '90s.
You will note that he says he has not seen any UFOs himself. He is only passing along info told him by third parties. He might be in a good position to get that info, too, meeting people all over the world who keep their eyes on the sky.

Hey Ron,
What about some of your excellent expansion, and insight, regarding this little news headline I happened upon this week quite by accident, I would really like some further insight that my brief attempts were unable to find. Your web page certainly denonstrates your skills, and/or luck, prove you are more adept at these things. If not a feature story maybe comments from anyone who may know anything about this.

Anyone thinking clearly shouldn't risk driving their "felonious materials" around in their better looking cars or other vehicles, if they get stopped, or if another driver runs a light and smashes into there car, & the materials are found in the investigation, or fpr any reasons; the cops will confiscate the vehicle and you don't get it back. I admit the old cars they use should at least be in legal, working order, with current tags and registration. They were likely smoking too much of their "felonious stuff" before they got behind the wheel, and some are doing more then that, and quite literally on auto pilot, or must have guardian angels that know how to drive for them.
