Phil Prentice Writes
I hardly ever (never?) post about comments on another post, but this is different. Three and a half years ago I spotted this unfilled grave next door to the DeMille grave in the Hollywood Forever cemetery.
Since then my post about it here on Ron's Log has produced a steady stream of comments from fans of Phil Prentice, who is an artist. And now we've finally heard from Phil Prentice himself, and he included his email address. So maybe all of you with questions can just ask him directly.

I am from New Zealand and while travelling around America, I brought a Polar Bear print on board, from Toy"s R Us (I think) That was in 1978.! strapped it to the outside of my suitcase, got it home, and it has hung on my lounge wall ever since. I just love it.
regards, Doreen.

I purchased a picture with a Phil Prentice signature. The picture is mostly yellow with orange tints of a little girl on the beach. Does anyone know if the Phil Prentice that painted wildlife paintings also did beach scenes?

I lost a print of 2 giraffes done by phil prentice..in the typical frames and matted. I am sure it was a print and not a real painting..I lost it sometime in a move it was either given away or gone to goodwill but I don't know how that happened because I loved and cherished that picture for 20 years...I have cancer and really want to get that picture back if anyone can help me either replace it or find it I would apprec. it....I am desperate to find it for sentimental reasons. want to leave it to my son ...it was hanging in his room for 20 years...help please

I purchased an oil painting by Phil Prentice recently. I purchased it because it reminded me of the Florida beaches but when I looked on the back it said Lake Michigan in pencil. It looks rather old in the original frame. Could I have more information on it Mr. Prentice if you read this and have the time. thank you,
