Today At The Palm Springs Fine Art Fair

Pyramid Scheme by Enrique Chagoya

Works by Mary-Austin Klein. Her website.

After The Mona Lisa 2 by Devorah Sperber includes 5,184 spools of thread and the clear acrylic sphere in front of it which rights the image. (Asking $48,000).

I cannot avoid commenting on the Joshua Tree graphic for the Palm Springs Fine Art Fair. Undoubtedly designed by someone who does not live here.

Celebrity spotting: Richard Brown.
The complete set of my photos from the Palm Springs Fine Art Fair.
Something I noticed today. Each gallery had its own space at the fair. Within each gallery-space was one or two people from the gallery with at least a table and chair. Almost every one of them had an iPhone that they just left lying out on the table. Is there something about iPhones that makes them difficult to pocket? Or is it that if you are involved in the art dealing market, it offends your artistic senses to have an iPhone in your pocket?
The fair continues on Sunday, February 19.
