DHS Community Police Initiative Meeting Tongiht

Thursday, February 23, 6 PM to 8 PM in the high school cafeteria.

The entire city is invited (they seem to have dropped the RSVP request) to meet with Police Officers, Chief Williams, Police Detectives, Police Commanders (if you have an outstanding warrant, this is the place to be!), Mayor Parks, City Manager Daniels, City Council Members, Code Enforcement Officers and more, to discuss crime statistics, crime trends affecting your neighborhood, crime prevention ideas, other quality of life concerns such as graffiti, traffic, gangs, etc.

Food and drink will be provided.

If it is at all like last year's meeting there will be a very free flow of information in all directions.

I neglected to include Animal Control and even Dispatch in the list above. You know who won't be there? Fire. Apparently the fire department will be out keeping the city safe while we get together for this meeting.
