• At the Health & Wellness Center:
  • Framing continues at the Teen Center and kitchen area.
  • Electrical wiring continues at the Activity Center and Teen Center.
  • Pool excavation is complete; plumbing and piping work has begun.
  • HVAC and mechanical rough installation has begun.
  • Activity Center foundation has been poured.
  • Slab pour completed at Activity Center.
  • On-site utility trenching has commenced.
  • Trusses have been loaded at the Activity Center and in area south of Kitchen.
  • Plywood siding is being installed at the Teen Center.
  • Steel beams for the gym were delivered and will be installed on January 23rd.
  • Assembling easement and bill of sale documents for electrical and communication service to the complex.
  • Working to close the New Market Tax Credits. Secured the first $2 Million.
• The traffic light at Camino Campañero has been repaired.
• 8th Street repaving is complete.
• As for Western Avenue and Scenic Drive: "Hazardous Waste Initial Assessment Survey has been approved by Caltrans and a Categorical Exemption has been filed. Sent Caltrans a request for an authorization to proceed with construction." [I'm seeing that at Caltrans roads are built one millimeter at a time.]
• Vista Montaña really is going with the cholla idea: "Vista Montana has contracted to have the trees on the south property line trimmed to above the wall height and will install cactus along the wall as a deterrent. We are also negotiating with the HOA to remove a tree that is visually blocking the new stop light." [Well, maybe it will be something other than cholla.]
