Create Your Own Marriage Video

The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center has put out a call for your creative video message in support of equal marriage rights and calls it Project: Pushback. They ask "Do you have a unique take on why same-sex couples should be allowed to marry? Are you tired of our opponents setting the terms of the debate?"

Each video must be no longer than 60 seconds [and no larger than 100 MB] and must:

• Relate to, and promote support for, the freedom for same-sex couples to marry.
• Not be an attack on any person or organization.
• Be appropriate for a broad audience.
• Not be about any particular ballot initiative, court case, or election.

Deadline May 18. Public voting will begin May 19. The winner will be announced June 1. There's a cash prize of $2,500.
