According to The Real Estalker, Ellen Degeneres and Portia Di Rossi managed, even while making Palm Springs wedding plans, to acquire the final chunk of property on Cabrillo Drive in Beverly Hills, where they live. They now own the whole street which had only three properties on it, if I understand correctly, and got it all for only about $40 million. They will now be able to gate the road and be very private.

Earlier they had bought the home of Max Mutchnick for $29 million. Mr. Mutchnik and his husband Erik Hyman have turned around and bought the Pete Sampras house, also in Beverly Hills.
