Buying Medical Marijuana

Columnist Sandy Banks of the L.A. Times gets examined by a doctor, is issued a cannabis card and prescription for medical marijuana, and fills that prescription - all in one easy day. Cost for the exam was $150; for the cannabis itself: $55 for an eighth of an ounce of Yumbolt. She says she ultimately flushed that down the toilet as witnessed by her editor.

OMG. You mean people are using marijuana!!! After all our own government tells us that if you smoke marijuana you will go criminally insane, for men, and women become multi-racial nymphomaniacs. But as the ACP said, "it is time for government to get out of the way of scientific and medical research and legalize Medical Marijuana." Evidence is overwhelming as to the soft drug status of cannabis, which has been used for over 2,000 years of which there is documented proof of the medical efficacy and safety of it's use. Marijuana was made illegal in 1937 for racial purposes only and has evolved into the ignorant, insane political Marijuana Monster that we have today. It is literally the government agaisnt the people, 86% of the population want safe and easy access to medical grade marijuana for medical purposes. I can tell you this, there is nothing, NOTHING that controls chronic nausea like the inhalation of marijuana vapors. There is nothing as safe, even if you smoke it, for chronic nausea control. The most prescribed is Regalen/Metroclopramide and prolonged use of it causes irreversable Parkinson like shakes and tremors and yet it's legal??? Where is the sense in that?! To deny an organ transplant is to deny life. Is mariujuana worth killing people for? It must be because it happens everyday on the side of the law and on the side of the dealer. If marijuana were legalized, taxed and sold and Industrial Hemp were legal the financial windfall would be enormous and from every angle. It would mean the collapse of the Marijuana Black Market and that, you see, would be a good thing. You thought Al Capone was dangerous, just what the hell have we witnessed from the drug cartels created by the so called "War On Drugs." We must remove politicians like Sen Tom Harkin (D-IA) who lumps marijuana in the same catagory as heorin, cocaine and meth. Wise up people make your vote count, LEGALIZE MARIJUANA AND RELEASE ALL INCARCERATED PEOPLE CHARGED WITH NON VIOLENT MARIJUANA RELATED CRIMES!
