Gay Life In Palm Springs

Via Friday Fishwrap, the L.A. Times has an article about a book by Robert julian [sometimes the article capitalizes his last name, sometimes not] about the real gay life in Palm Springs entitled Postcards from Palm Springs. Oddly (has the L.A. Times been studying from the Desert Sun's stylebook?) the article doesn't give the title of the book until you get to the third paragraph on the second page. Here's the Amazon link and here's the link to Google book search where you can read an excerpt.

I want to point out that in this photo that the Times uses to illustrate the article, the two identified men lounging presumably naked at Inndulge are visiting from Boston and Providence — we see only the knees and foot of the Bostonian, but if you go here you can see their faces.
Inndulge
Not entirely coincidentally, the Inndulge was the resort where I stayed the very first time I visited Palm Springs.

It looks so beautiful there.

I posted to your blog a while back and mentioned my partner is in nursing school. Upon completion (he has 9 months to go), he will go to work at the Desert Regional Medical Center and we will relocate to the glorious, warm, Palm Springs area.

I am counting the months until we're out of New York state and the away from the cold.
