When You Read This...
When you read something like this, you know that things have gone just a bit too far:
First, to ensure an extra-added measure of security, along with signing the entry sheets, we will have to institute a mandatory genital check for everyone who attends!

It came to me in an email regarding an issue outside the scope of Ron's Log (yes, there are such things!), and I appreciated that it is such a well written sentence on an unusual topic. And I think as a general rule mandatory genital checks indicate somebody (and I won't say who) has gone too far (and I won't say in which direction).
I will go so far as to say this has nothing to do with the Desert Hot Springs city council.
