Spencer Tunick in Buffalo
Spencer Tunick has completed another installation; this time in the Central Terminal in Buffalo, New York. Now, I must be clear, because my previous references to Spencer Tunick have attracted questions and comments that suggest that some correspondents have not, uh, thought things through quite clearly.
First, I am not Spencer Tunick.
Second, I'm not distributing for Spencer Tunick.
Therefore, (third) if you want to see Spencer Tunick's photos you have got to buy his publications or go to the places where they are on display.
I strongly suggest that you go to Spencer Tunick's own website, where you can get complete information and even register yourself (and your skin tone) so that you can take part in a future installation in your part of the world.

To "Spencer",
If you are still interested, http://www.i-20.com/artist.php?artist_id=19 or http://www.albrightknox.org/AKcart/reproductions.html are the first places I would check out for Spencer Tunick prints. The second link would only have the Buffalo shots. There is also a DVD of the day in question. I am clearly visible on it for about 5 seconds - fully clothed.

Have you gone to Spencer Tunick's own website and asked?

Do you know where I could buy Spence Tunick reprints for my
house?

Actually, there were about 900 naked men, it wasn't a 50-50 split.
Given the pictures you see, do you THINK I could smuggle
anything in? Where would I put it? Besides, it just wasn't
the spirit of the event. People were thrilled that we had
people in their 50's, 60's, 70's and older posing butt naked
next to people in their low 20's. It was great.
As an update, I got my print. When I picked it up, I
saw a few others there. I didn't recognize them with their
clothes on. As my wife and I suspected, it was the kneeling shot, parted like the Red Sea.
There is also a fundraising event on May 21st for the unveiling
of the print at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. I plan to
be there. Should be a fun time.

Umm, not to mention the 700 naked men. I guess you weren't allowed to sneak in your own camera, were you?

I love the site, it has the best pictures of that
wonderful day. If Spencer Tunick ever comes to your area,
GO FOR IT! a) The opportunity to meander freely through
700 naked women is truly a thing of beauty! b) My wife
(who also posed) and I became closer after posing. I loved
it, and would definitely do it again!
