Miami to Key West AIDS Ride
The Miami to Key West AIDS Ride earlier this month raised $172,000. I'm guessing that's gross. The actual name of the ride is either "The Southern Most AIDS Ride 2 (SMART Ride)" or "Bike It and B.E.A.R. It for AIDS." The article is ambiguous.

Actually it was NET, 100% of what the riders raised went to charity, there were no paid employees, this was produced throough the genorosity of Volunteers who care to make a difference in this global pandemic.
Join us this year NOvember 5th & 6th to raise even more money a nd make an ever greater difference.
