Tour de Friends AIDS Ride Ends

The Tour de Friends bike ride was the Washington DC replacement for the AIDS Rides. June 2003 was their first (and last) attempt at the ride. With 693 riders contributing a minimum of $2500 each, the ride netted only $265,324, which is a return of only about 10%. Even Pallotta did better than that. Next year they will have a bicycle fundraiser piggybacking on the Cycle Across Maryland ride, which is a 16 year old fun ride.
